Full description
This cheerful attractive stained glass panel features a bright sunflower. Richly coloured, this beautiful panel glows beautifully in the sun. Totally unique, it will make an interesting gift or valentine surprise.
This one is made to order so please allow two weeks to make.
For the stained glass I have used best quality glass of different textures and effects, using yellow and sunset red art glass to stunning effect. The panel takes on a life of its own when light shines through. This is real stained glass, not painted on. Please note that I may have to use different glass textures to the one pictured as glass suppliers occasionally change their glass ranges, but the colours and design effect will remain the same.
The panel is created using the traditional Tiffany technique and the solder is finished off with a black patina. The exterior is encased with a lead frame to give it extra strength, and finally, it is all polished up with carnauba wax to give everlasting shine.
Approx 18 cm (7 1/4 in) in diameter, it comes ready to hang with two soldered rings and a metal chain or ribbon.
