A fabulous nuno felted scarf in a blend of blue and green merino wool and bleached tussah silk on a blue silk chiffon base.
Feather light and warm.
Nuno felted onto a blue silk chiffon scarf is a layer of blue and green merino wool blended with bleached tussah silk. The base scarf has a colour gradient of dark to light to dark blue from one end to the other. Surface embellishment using blue and white silk fibre and blue and green curly wool locks has been applied and woollen tassels each end have also been added. This scarf has been felted on one side only leaving the silk scarf visible on the reverse. Shrinkage of the wool in the felting process results in a lovely crinkled effect to the silk.
The scarf measures approximately 130cm (156cm including tassels) x 42cm
