The bunny that lived on the moon
First arrived on a shooting star
When he looked down to check out the view
He realised he’d travelled quite far
I designed the first of my little bunny moon pendants in early 2010 whilst drawing one day in my sketchbook. The design encapsulates imagination, cuteness and a kind of whimsical otherworldliness. I like the idea of bunnies living in the craters on the moon eating space carrots and gazing out at the stars and back down at us.

Full description
These little moon bunnies are intricately cut out by hand from 0.9 mm sterling silver sheet using traditional silversmithing techniques. The moon has been highly polished to give it a mirror shine and the pendant hangs on an 18 inch sterling silver ball chain with tiny sterling silver beads that look like stars. The pendant itself is 2 centimetres in width/height.
This necklace is based on my original design and should not be reproduced by any other company or person. Thank you for supporting handmade and independent business owners.
