This pendant is entirely handmade and therefore will differ from the one in the photograph. I start by handcutting with a piercing saw several circles. These I put through my rolling mill which gives me uneven ovals shapes. I file the edges and drill tiny holes near the centres, and then I heat them. This allows me to dome the ovals to different depths so that they sit comfortably inside each other. Through the holes I thread silver wire with a bobble on the end and then form a loop at the back to hang from the chain. Every element of this necklace is sterling silver.

Necklace comes boxed in stylish black and silver boxes, with 'jemima lumley jewellery' embossed in silver on the lid. Inside there is a black velveteen cushion, and the box closes with a magnetic snap fastening.
