A short walk from my studio lies a long sandy beach...some days I can hear the rush of the surf as I work. We are an Island people and the song of the sea is in our blood. When the longing gets too much I pack my sketch book and take to the Oceans edge...in search of inspiration....or the unknown. My eyes scan the shore looking at the shells and pebbles washed up by the sea....the view forgotten as I examine every one....looking for the perfect shell....the unexpected find.....treasure that fills my pocket.....I use these finds to make pieces and texture pieces....to capture that song of the sea that we cannot name...that we feel in our blood....

Full description
This solid Fine Silver pendant has been made in my Highland Studio from my own design. The silver has been shaped and domed to reflect the light before being imprinted with the texture of a sea Urchin shell washed up on the local beach. It has been hand polished to a high shine that reflects the light. As it has been made with a real urchin from the beach it is completely unique, a one of a kind sea treasure.
The pendant measures approximately 18mm across its widest point and has been finished with a .925 silver snake chain measuring 18 inches in length.
This pendant will be supplied gift boxed.
