I bought some lovely text paper - with a crisp, laid finish - and folded a set of pages... I wanted to make something gorgeous from leather, so I went to look in my leather stocks and found this piece of gorgeous, soft, soft lamb's leather. It was just the right thing. A heart, carved into the cover and embossed into the leather, then a fancy design for the binding, and there was the loveliest book. It's just right for a special occasion, where you want to express your fondness and affection for someone special.
Of course, you could just buy it for yourself and enjoy the wonderful leather and the crispness of the paper, while you write your dreams on the hand-cut white pages!

Here is a beautiful journal or sketchbook, in oh-so-soft red leather, with an embossed heart design on the front cover and decorative hearts binding, in red linen.
High quality lambs-leather cover in rich red, lined with black art paper.
A heart design was carved into the front cover-board and embossed into the leather, when the board was covered. The back is plain, soft red leather.
Hand bound with red linen thread, with a decorative stitch pattern - two hearts and a centre panel of link stitch.
The book contains 80 pages (160 sides) of good quality, mid-weight white paper, with a laid finish, which is hand cut and stitched in ten sets.
Measurements: 15.5cm / 6ins approx, X 11cm / 4.25ins. Pages are A6 size (15x10.5cm).
