Edgar Allan Poe...The Tell Tale Heart Pendant.
I have never really been one for heart jewellery, but I wanted to make some jewellery with the title The Tell Tale Heart.
I had an image of twisted wire and blackened silver.
When out walking yesterday, I saw a wonderful twisted vine with some brilliant red berries, and that was it! The twist was just like I wanted to create. So here it is, it is just as I wanted it to be, a statement pendant. A beautiful heart with a twist (forgive the pun).
Made from lots of silver plated copper wire, hammered for strength and patinated for a mixture of copper to silver to black tones, hung on a dark silver coloured chain.
