All the work we make is produced in our studio pottery at the Pottery Barn, Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre on the edge of the South Downs in rural West Sussex.
It is here that we design all our pieces and make them by hand either on a potter’s wheel or by sculpturing from slabs of clay. The work is then decorated with our own glazes.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Individually decorated hand made terracotta mugs. Each mug is custom made and personalised to give the perfect present.
The mugs are hand thrown on a pottery wheel and once dried dipped in a blue slip. The names are then imprinted onto a clay label which is then attached to the mug. The natural earth tones of the terracotta clay contrast beautifully against the light blue background.
Each mug is made to order (although we do have more than 500 names in stock) so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. The mugs are approximately 8cm x 10cm but will vary due to the handmade nature of the making process. The mugs are dishwasher safe.
When ordering please state clearly the name required.
