How could a baby look super smart for a formal occasion?... but of course, a bib with a tie on it, said my mind! It turned out great :-)
I've purposefully made this design as 'realistic' to a shirt and tie as possible, rather than simply using an appliqued design. Along with the upcycled shirts used, I think this bib is really special and unique.
The bamboo terry towelling fabric that backs it is extra practical, absorbant, soft, and eco friendly.

Full description
- This bib is sewn using salvaged fabric, which has been upcycled from a striped mens shirt, giving the item a charm and eco awareness. Both this striped fabric, and the purple tie are cotton.
It is backed with soft bamboo terry towelling to absorb dribbles and spills, and protect the clothes below. This fabric is absorbent, quick drying, and environmentally sustainable. Fastens with a convenient plastic snap.
- Perfect to wear on special occasions, maybe weddings, parties, christenings, or perhaps even for visiting the office to look like Daddy. Any little man will look the part in this bib!
- Standard 'one size' will fit nearly all babies: width 21cm/8.23, length 15cm/6, neck circumference 29cm/11.5
- Only the 'knot' part of the tie is stitched onto the bib, so it moves freely, like a real tie.
- I recommend machine washing at 30 degrees, to help the environment. Always wash with like colours (though fabric is prewashed to prevent shrinkage or colour running). Iron on a medium setting if desired. Line dry.
- Want gift wrap? No problem and no extra charge... just ask.
Gift packaging is tissue, with classic brown paper wrap, tied with a hand cut fabric ribbon. I can add a tag and message of your choice too if desired.
Everything is mailed out in a biodegradable packet.
