As I worked with this Angel Mum I had the feeling she always has hot fresh-baked cakes waiting when the kids get home from school. She's always smiling, never gets angry. The house is shiny as a new pin and she still finds time to mow the lawn so hubby can put his feet up. Yeah ok ... doesn't sound like anyone I know! But all Mums have their own way of being special. A Mum with a quirky sense of humour might like this wee painting for Mother's Day.

This small quirky painting is full of whimsical detail. Angel Mum was created using mixed media collage art, painting and drawing techniques using layers of paint, papers and various media on a stiff paper backing.
