Full description
To make these coasters I hand cut 2 layers of clear glass. I applied blue bubble powder, which is made from ground glass and bicarbonate of soda. I then fused the layers together in my glass kiln at a temperature of around 800 degrees for about 12 hours. I love these coasters the light catches them and there is a depth to the blue that is lovely against the clear glass.
Every item I create is unique, with different mixes of colour and shade. The coasters you see in the photograph will be the ones I will send to you.
Each Coaster is 10cm x 10cm and they come in a set of four. Each coaster has 4 silicone bumpers on the bottom to keep them from moving about.
