I'm a vegetarian, verging on vegan, so if that makes me an animal nut, so be it. Suffice to say I'm besotted with my 5 rescue dogs and 3 cats and some of the subjects of the portraits I've loved painting the most are animals. Animal lovers will understand the importance of having the image of a much loved pet to keep for ever. They are with us for far too short a time unfortunately. Bringing a much loved friend to life on canvas is the best thing in the world I can do for other people who share their lives with creatures of other species. And sharing the process with them is an added pleasure for me and hopefully for them too.
Please note the posting time quoted of 21 days is a guide only as oil paint takes some time to dry before varnish is applied. Acrylic paint, which drys quickly, may be used for paintings needed quickly.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
I will paint a portrait of your choosing; a pet or any animal (a child/people) the choice is yours. For you to keep or as a gift for someone special. All I need are good detailed photographs to work from.
This listing is for a single subject size 5 x 7 in approx (13 x 18 cm) or 6 x 6 in approx (15 x 15 cm) Other sizes are available. Please contact me for details.
Your painting will be created using professional artist grade oils or acrylic paints (fast dry) on a stretched gallery wrapped cotton acid free canvas panel. The painting will continue on the sides of the canvas so the portrait can be displayed with or without frame as you wish. I will sign the painting BEE on the front .
Before buying you are welcome to email a photo for me to assess suitability and discuss your requirements. Please choose high quality photos that are taken in close-up, have a facial expression you love especially with a clear view of the eyes. No flash please; shots taken in daylight are best. If the painting is needed for a particular date, please let me know.
Images of work in progress will be emailed to you and a scanned image of your finished portrait will be emailed for approval before posting. Ships FREE Worldwide. In the unlikely event that you are not completely thrilled with your portrait (so far all my clients have been delighted), I will keep the painting to add to my portfolio and happily give you a full refund.
