This piece was inspired by Chinese style knots which I have been working on recently. I love how curling the folded fabrics can create flowing designs, which can all interlock with each other.

This unique and very beautiful ivory sash made with fabric flowers, curls and laces and set onto a 4cm wide double sided ribbon is perfect if you are looking for something different, with just a tiny a touch of oriental influence. The fabric curls on the design are inspired by traditional Chinese knots and the beautiful patterns they can form, reminiscing of waves. The fabric flowers, made with different fabrics: satins, tulles and voiles, are enhanced with pearl beads, crystals and lace.
The sash is ready to ship and is approximately 2m long and the flower arrangement is approximately 13.5cm long and 8.5cm wide at their largest dimensions. The flower arrangement is slightly offset to the centre of the sash, so that it can be worn slightly to the centre left or right.
Matching sashes can be made in different colours or sizes, with a lead time of 2-6 weeks depending on quantities and colours required. For custom orders or any enquiry, please don't hesitate to contact me.
