When I hung it in the window I thought it looked rather like a Picasso !

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A new design in 2014.
This is a crescent moon in a midnight blue sky with a rainbow heart enclosed within the curve.
The moon is streaky white, the blue sky iridescent and textured and the heart cut from some lovely textured glass to make up the range of rainbow colours.
I've added a little Tibetan silver heart bead to the eye just to spread the love.
The suncatcher is framed with twisted wire for strength and neatness..
It is 11cm in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached via soldered rings to the top..
It looks rather lovely hanging in the window, unusual and quite a modern design but with plenty of colour which will catch the light.
Totally unique and very special for yourself or as a present.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The 5th photo shows the previous version I made of this design so you can see each is different.
A lovely present tfor Mother's Day or at any time for someone you love and is guaranteed to be totally unique.
