Contemporary textile art picture. Titled “Hidden Vessels" based on a still life of blue and peach vases, urns and bowls.
Modern fabric collage that has been decorated with machine stitching. Turquoise, peach and blue hand dyed fabric and a tiny amount of commercial patchwork fabric have been used. A hint of gold has been used to decorate the vessels. When finished the work has been hand stitched to the canvas and a misting of white acrylic paint applied over the edges.
The work measures 14 x 14 cm and is mounted on a canvas measuring 20 x 20 x 3 cm.
This item has been hand stitched by me and made in a non-smoking and pet free home.
