Full description
This little clutch bag is made from a stunning red and gold decorative vintage Japanese obi fabric. The lining is an emerald green color and is made from cotton. There is a sturdy gold metal kiss clasp closure.
Approximate size: 4.5in x 6.5in (11.5cm x 15.5cm).
Materials: Japanese obi fabric, cotton lining, padding and metal clasp.
I love making all my bags, but have especially enjoyed making these ones which are made from vintage Japanese obi (the belt that goes around the kimono) fabrics that I have collected from antique markets around Tokyo. They are usually woven and the colors are divine. I love to add a brightly colored lining to compliment the outer fabric.
This clutch bag would look stunning with any outfit, and it's big enough to fit purse, keys, phone and lipstick.
