It's December, and other than teaching my daughter to sew some simple Christmas decorations, I don't really have any other Christmassy projects on the go. (Probably because I have three quilts to finish before the big day as gifts, but please don't tell.) So this bag, and this gorgeous fabric, is my homage to the season, and the magnificent Rudolph himself!

I had to make something vaguely Christmas related, right? Well here we have deer with red noses...could they even be reindeer??
Tula Pink designer cotton, Dear Me from the Moonshine line, here with a deep wine velvet fabric.
This bag is a straight bodied tote shape, but with a wide gusset bottom so that when you look inside, everything is visible rather than hidden in folds of fabric. I use lots of layers when I make a bag and this gives them structure - this bag will stand up on it's own rather than being floppy. Inside, there is a large zip fastened pocket for added security, a slip pocket and an easy to fasten magnetic clasp. The bag measures 31cm tall, 31cm wide with a 10cm gusseted base.
Within the UK, I use Hermes courier service. Once the item is ready to post I will send you the tracking number so that you can control when and how your parcel is delivered.
