This 2015 'page a day' diary has a lovely handmade cover which can be easily removed and reused - on another diary or similar-sized notebook/journal.
The lovely purple and white polka dot fabric is separated from the natural calico by a strip of ric-rac in a lovely shade of lilac. I have hand embroidered my own 'flowers and butterflies' design on the front of the diary - and have incorporated lovely lilac wool felt and buttons. The inside of the cover has been lined with in a plain yellow polycotton. I tend to make 'one-off' items and so this cover is unique.
The diary itself measures approximately 15 cm by 21.5 cm when closed.
This would make a lovely gift (or a lovely treat for yourself!).
If necessary I would recommend a very gentle, cool handwash. The cover should be allowed to dry naturally.
