I had some beautiful fabrics left over from other projects and thought they would make lovely cloaks!

Full description

I made this cloak from a lovely red lightweight fabric. It has been pleated at the neck for shape and ties at the front with gold coloured ribbon. Two red buttons complete the decoration.

Perfect as a dressing up cape in a variety of situations: in the school Nativity, as a King or Queen, Prince or Princess, superhero etc

The cloak measures approx 72cm in length - it can easily be taken up if too long (please ask!)

I have made quite a few of these cloaks - they are all made from different fabric, adorned with various ribbons and buttons to compliment them. I can adjust the length of the hem on most of them if you require them to be shorter. I have left the ribbon ties quite long, so you can trim them to the required length, or leave them long to tie into a bow. To stop the end of the ribbon fraying, just rub the ends with a little bit of stick glue and leave to dry.

Safety: as with all dressing up items, please keep away from sources of ignition and naked flame. Do adjust the length of the ribbon tie appropriately for younger children.
