I find the celebration of Día de Muertos fascinating, the art that is produced is truly beautiful. For me the sugar skulls are the showstoppers, they are the perfect gentle mix of my two favourite things nature/flowers and skulls/gothic.

Full description
Inspired by the Mexican public holiday Día de Muertos- Day Of The Dead. This large cameo necklace features a Gypsy woman with skeleton face who has become an icon for the celebration she is known as Catrina. Ivory on black this cameo shows beautiful detailing including intricate roses in her hair and tattoos on her face and neck. The design of Catrina itself has become a popular tattoo in vintage designs. Set in a plated sterling silver rope setting and complemented by a dainty bow connector and link and bar chain, this necklace has a lot of character in an elegant style.
