This little hummingbird was originally designed to remind a lady of her childhood in California, where they would flit around her garden where she grew up. It has been acid etched into the silver to give all the beautiful details of the feathers, and catches the light beautifully.

A beautiful silver hummingbird pin etched from an original drawing by Lucylou Designs.
This handmade silver hummingbird pin measures 30 x 30mm at the widest points and has been handmade in my studio in Lancashire. The fine detail of the feathers has been etched into the silver leaving behind a beautiful pattern that catches the light.
Fully hallmarked at the London Assay Office, it is attached to a sterling silver pin, with a sterling silver push on protector to keep it securely in place, to give you an original and beautiful designer pin which will look equally stunning on a jacket, scarf or shawl. As with all my handmade jewellery it has been crafted with care using traditional silversmithing techniques - so you know you are buying a piece direct from the designer that is designed and made to last.
It comes packaged in a Lucylou Designs presentation jewellery box, so it is ready to give as a gift - or to keep as a gorgeous treat for yourself!
