Full description
This 8" wooden snowman is made from reclaimed scaffold boards, cut to size and shape on my bandsaw. I have painted this snowman before sanding to give a distressed, aged look.
The snowman's eyes, buttons, and mouth are made from a box of old upholstery tacks and his nose is a waxed piece of dowel. His wire/stick arms are then attached to complete the look.
This snowman has then been given a coat of clear wax to give him a soft sheen.
This nordic style simple decoration would look great on a shelf or mantelpiece.
