Full description
This necklace's namesake comes from a gorgeous summer sunset I witnessed whilst traveling New Zealand.
The rich tones of red, orange and yellow were created from a volcanic eruption, which caused by the particles in the atmosphere. It was breath taking and I just had to immortalise that memory somehow!
It hangs from an extra long antique bronze beaded fine chain which is fastened with a lobster claw catch.
Measurements
Wood and resin fan pendant: 5cm x 3.6cm x 0.6cm at widest points
Chain length: 28 inches.

This design started from a pencil sketch which made its way to a vector illustration and finally was cut out of wood by a laser cutter.
It was then sealed with a Mahogany coloured wood stain and filled with vibrant coloured resin. Its a lovely design to feel and the texture is lushly smooth.
