Leather books are a little bit of a luxury - something that almost anyone who likes to write, scribble or sketch, would appreciate.
I recentlly bought a batch of this this gorgeous soft leather and wanted to make some great books with it. I hope I have achieved my aim and produced something you would love to give to a friend or relative this Christmas!

A hand bound Journal or Notebook, bound by hand in Longstitch, with covers of soft, high quality black leather, with purple mulberry endpapers.
A great idea for a Christmas gift, especially for someone who loves to scribble, sketch or write, or maybe a busy student, who would like a touch of luxury in their bag.
- Black Leather covers, with purple mulberry endpapers/ cover linings.
- The pages are hand stitched, in an asymmetrical variation of traditional Longstitch, with a section of French Link-Stitch in the centre. The binding is in purple linen thread.
- There are eighty pages (160 sides) of "Three Candlesticks" white text paper - a lovely, high-quality paper, with a laid finish and crisp feel.
- The book measures 15cm x 11cm / 6" x 4.25"; pages are approx 14.75cm x 10cm / 5.75" x 4".
Would be a great present for a busy gentleman, or a student. You could even buy it for yourself (and sneak it into your stocking when no-one is looking!).
