This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

A brand new design for Xmas 2014. A lovely green Christmas Tree, standing on icy white snow, in frosty clear air and with a bright red textured frame.

The tree is cut from two types of prettily textured bright green glass. The snow beneath is iridescent white with pink and turquoise shimmers. The air is clear, frost patterned textured and the frame a pretty textured bright red.
I've added a little hightlight of 5 bright red berries, whIch I fused in my kiln, beneath the tree.

Very pleased with my new design and hope you like it too.

I've added twisted wire round the frame to really set the picture off well and give added strengh.

The suncatcher is 12.5 cm wide and 14.5 cm high and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.

This will make a wonderful present for someone or just for yourself as it is very special and absolutely unique.

I never make two pieces exactly the same. Even from the same pattern I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
