I have been making these since 1985 using the best willow available from the Somerset levels, the colours used are traditional and the basket is called a 'Withy Butt'.
we have used one for laundry everyday since 1985 and it is still going strong - not to be confused with the cheap ones that are falling apart before you get them home!
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Traditional Somerset Willow Log Basket - This item is big enough to hold an average days logs. It is completely handmade including the twisted willow handles which once twisted are as strong as rope. A traditional Log Basket is mostly Buff, but it can also have 2 other colour banding's towards the top (these are from Green, White and Brown). The Log basket measures Base is 12 inches Diameter, Height is 17 inches, Diameter on the top opening is 17 Inches.
