I have a shamefully large stash of vintage embroidered table cloths. It's a habit that I picked up whilst a student. So over the last couple of years I have had a bit of a cull; selecting pieces of fabric that really are past their best, and chopping out the bits that are still rather lovely, to make books.

Full description
This case-bound notebook has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. This notebook is completely handmade, all papers have been: cut, folded, sewn, rounded and backed, then cased by hand.
I have made the book-cloth out of a piece of vintage embroidered table cloth.
Measurements: height 15.3 cm width 11 cm and depth 2 cm ( approx 6" x 4 1/4" x 3/4 ")
The book contains 115 pages of assorted recycled and scavenged papers and 5 handmade envelopes (assorted colours).
