Full description
This large bowl, made from locally grown Cherry wood, is a finely turned piece. The dark area seen on the inside and underside of the bowl is a small patch of spalting that had started to form before the wood dried, prior to turning.
Once turned the bowl has been sanded perfectly smooth then given multiple treatments of food safe mineral oil before being buffed with beeswax, to bring it to a soft sheen.
