Every piece of sea pottery has its own unique shape and, if you are lucky, a beautiful pattern. These four pieces looked like cheeky wee birdies to me. Sat on a driftwood and jute fence, they look like they are having a wee chinwag. These particular pieces were found on the Banff coast in a wee coastal village called Sandend.

Collage of four little fat sea pottery birds on a driftwood and jute fence. All materials found on the beaches of North East Scotland. Sea pottery like this can often be around 100 years old and every piece is unique.
Framed in antique white box frame 25cm x 25cm
