This is part of a range of items I will be making from a large oak post that used to hold up my village sign.
Placed in 1970, the painted part of the sign finally succumbed to time last year and was replaced.
The weather ravaged post, 9" square, was still in very good condition apart from rotting at the base and so it is only fitting that it continues to be of use to others.

Full description

This candle holder is made from the reclaimed oak post from my village sign. The sign was put up in 1970 so the Oak has seen 44 years of our weather, giving it a wonderful colour and texture, very similar to driftwood.

After cutting to size and sanding it, I have given it two coats of natural wax to bring out the beauty of the oak. The candle holder has felt feet to protect your furniture.

The candle holder comes complete with two tea-lights, ready to use.

Please state whether you would like red or white tea-lights.

Size: (approx) 180mm x 120mm x 25mm
