Full description
These delicate earrings have been made from aluminium which I have dyed an autumnal yellow and printed with a dandelion seed design. The dye is sealed in so that it becomes a permanent part of the metal. I have saw pierced by hand a leaf shaped design and domed the metal slightly so that it catches the light. Aluminium can't be soldered, so the earrings are attached to sterling silver studs which feed through the leaf and stay in place on the ear using pressure from the butterfly fitting.
They measure 17mm x 11mm
