Full description
This is a recreation of a vintage toolbox made out of solid oak reclaimed from an old headboard. This would be perfect to use around the house for storage or perhaps as a centrepiece for a Christmas display, or as shown to carry garden tools.
The piece has been roughly aged to give it a worn appearance whilst still retaining its strength and practicality.
After planing and sanding, the box was given a coat of dark oak wax to bring out the beauty of the reclaimed oak.
I estimate that I will be able to make another 4 of these boxes before the headboard runs out, other colours of wax or paint finish are available so please get in touch with me to discuss your requirements.
