I've designed my new 'Daisy-Moon' brooch with a flat section in the background to take a coloured paint or enamel.The original was sculpted in wax on top of a steel ring which I'd found and hoarded ages ago. I also added in some tiny little beads which belonged to my Mum...I then moulded it and I cast each one in my coal shed in cold-cast pewter (which is resin with a metal covering on the outside).

They are then polished, finished and boxed by hand by me; sculptor Kirsty Armstrong.

They are approx. 2 1/4" (5cm) in diameter and because they are made with metal and resin, they are very light weight. There is a silver-plated brooch pin on the reverse and they come beautifully presented in a black gift box which has been hand finished with lilac paper raffia.

At present they are available in cold-cast pewter with an enamelled turquoise section, but I also make them in copper and bronze with all sorts of colours in the inlaid part....more soon.

I send all my orders via Royal Mail second class 'signed for' delivery.

I've always been drawn to the Moon, and Daisies are one of my favourite flowers. I actually woke up one morning with this dseign in my head and made it straight away! I wanted to create a brooch of a good size in a light weight, shiny material which could have a colour added. I also like the fact that it's 3 dimensional, and that it's such fun deciding which colours to add!
