This great music lover gift features a quote printed onto an original antique dictionary page.
"we are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams"
This is a line from 'Ode' by Arthur O'Shaughnessy. You might also know it from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! It's such an empowering line, reminding you to control your own destiny.
The page is taken from an old medium school dictionary and measures approx 14cm x 20cm (approx 5.5 inches x 8 inches). The dimensions of these dictionaries can vary by a few centimeters sometimes, as getting hold of consistent sizes is quite difficult! Please let me know if you need the exact dimensions of the print you will receive. There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.
The words are printed using Bookishly’s exclusive hand drawn font. An original book page is used every time, making each piece unique to you. The frames are made using ethically sourced wood and are wrapped using a beautiful old atlas.
The black wooden frames are handmade in Northamptonshire using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. There’s no glass so you can feel the lovely old page. The frames stand up by themselves or hang flush to the wall. They look great stood on a bookshelf. The old books come from local charity shops and second hand book dealers.
All prices include UK VAT.
