Full description

Typographic kitchen art print on a vintage book page framed in an eco-friendly wooden block frame.

"Come along inside... We'll see if tea and buns can make the world a better place."

This quote is from Kenneth Grahame, perfect for your kitchen - on the shelf next to the teapot!

The page is taken from an old medium school dictionary and measures approx 14cm x 20cm (approx 5.5 inches x 8 inches). There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep. The dimensions of these dictionaries can vary by a few centimeters sometimes, as getting hold of consistent sizes is quite difficult! Please let me know if you need the exact dimensions of the print you will receive.

The lovely old book pages are framed in ethically sourced wood and gift wrapped in a beautiful old road map. The quotation is printed using a hand drawn font made exclusively for Bookishly, and the original book pages make each one unique.

There is no glass in these hand-made black block frames, so you can feel the lovely old page. The lightweight frames are put together by a family firm in Northamptonshire. They stand up by themselves so are great for bookshelves, or hang flush to the wall. The books are sourced from local charity shops and second hand book dealers.

All prices include UK VAT.
