Full description

A romantic Pride and Prejudice quote from Mr Darcy, printed onto the original page of an upcycled copy of the Jane Austen classic.

Didn’t we all just swoon when he said to Elizabeth:

"In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I love and admire you."

Darcy's declaration of love quote from this romantic classic is printed onto an original vintage book page, and makes the perfect gift for your favourite book lover. Pride and Prejudice fans and bookworms will love this book art, especially as a wedding gift or engagement gift.

The page is taken from a small a-format paperback and the piece measures approximately 12cm x 18cm (approx 5 inches x 7 inches). There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.

The lovely old book pages are framed in ethically sourced wood and gift wrapped in a beautiful old road map. The quotation is printed using a hand drawn font made exclusively for Bookishly, and the original book pages make each one unique.

The black wooden frames are handmade in Northamptonshire using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. There’s no glass so you can feel the lovely old page. The frames stand up by themselves or hang flush to the wall. They look great stood on a bookshelf. The old books come from local charity shops and second hand book dealers.

All prices include UK VAT.
