Full description
Hand-made from durable stoneware clay, this wall plaque is a great way to add interest and meaning to your garden; it makes an ideal gift for a garden-loving friend. The plaque has two holes to allow hanging from a wall or fence.
The stoneware clay and glaze are fired to high temperatures, which ensures the plaque is frost- and weather-proof, even in a British sub-zero winter!
The verse is a quotation from the poem 'God's Garden' by Dorothy Frances Gurney and reads:
"Planting a garden is an act of optimism.
When you plant a seed, you put hope in the ground.
Your trust is in the future when there is no present sign that life will come ."
This plaque measures 19cm high and 27cm across; the flowers and leaves are picked out in coloured glazes.
