applique & embroidered zombie tooth fairy pillow.
perfect for little girls in a post-apocalyptic home, this little tooth fairy cushion measures about 21cm (8 inches) square, and hangs 38cm (14 inches) from a pink ribbon, and there’s a little embroidered pocket on the front for tooth fairy offerings.
this gorgeous zombie girl wears a pretty liberty floral dress, with bright pink collar and sash detail, and flowers in her pale pink hair. her pale blue linen skin contrasts with her bright red lipstick and bloodshot eyes. her eyeballs are hand embroidered.
her delicate fairy wings are in white cotton muslin.
cotton fabrics are layered & appliqued onto the cotton calico, and the intricate details drawn freehand with free machine (free motion) embroidery.
all of my work is made entirely on a domestic sewing machine. everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
this cushion is from heavy weight calico, and is backed with pale pink cotton. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink when washed. the pillow is stuffed with polyester filling, and finished by hand.
