We saw so many of these yellow beauties in the late Summer flitting, among the bell heather.

My brooches are one-offs with much thought and attention going into each hand embroidered design.
Clouded Yellow butterfly brooch uses reverse applique to reveal yellow silk wings with cotton and silk embroidery detail. Sewn onto a linen background.
Each one is well finished with a neat back and secure brooch pin and comes in a handmade fabric pocket
