Full description
A gorgeous light and airy but still warm scarf made from all natural materials using a blend of blue shades of merino wool and silk/flax fibres on a silk chiffon base with sunflower detail added. The base scarf has a colour gradient from one end to the other, of blue to white and back to blue. Five large sunflowers have been added to each end of the scarf. The scarf was made using a nuno felting technique which allows the wool fibres to migrate and felt through the silk. Shrinkage of the wool fibres gives a lovely "crinkled" effect to the scarf.
The scarf measures approximately 138cm x 40cm.
Suitable for day or evening wear, summer or winter, casual or formal. A truly versatile accessory which would make a lovely gift.
Hand wash only in cool water and reshape while wet.
NOTE: this is a re-listing of a scarf that has sold. The photographs are of the original scarf although the remake is similar - the size and placing of the flowers may differ slightly.
