This purse was inspired by my (vast!) collection of antique clothing which contains many examples of Victorian Mourning dress. I also think of it as my 'Vampire' purse, especially with its pop of blood red in the lining.

Perfect for Halloween this is a black, cotton velvet and silk purse with a clip bobble frame in an antiqued brass colour.
Lining is in rust coloured silk, with a small pocket (6cm x 10cm), the perfect size for a credit card.
The purse is decorated with stitched pleats and a beaded and embroidered panel.
