This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A starfish, a new design this year as I wanted to add a simple marine design to my catalogue.
I've made a swirly star shape using some lovely streaky iridescent blue glass.
I've framed it with twisted wire to give a texture to the edge of the starfish and I've added little silver stars along the seams to give more texture and to imitate the pimples round the edges of a real Starfish.
At the centre is a shiny multifaceted crystal which I've then repeated between each segment.
This pretty suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the Starfish.
This item is totally individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
It is 11 cm in diameter.
The 5th picture is of the pink Starfish I made previously so you can see it in a different colour.
