The Vikings have provided me with infinite inspiration for these earrings! They decorated comb and knife handles with symbols like this.

Full description
These earrings have been inspired by the decoration on Viking objects found in archaeological digs in the historic city of York.
Chevrons, dots, lines and dashes are marked on circles of silver and oxidized then the silver is brushed to enhance the markings. Each circle has a unique sequence of markings.
The whole earring is about 2.5cm long including the ear wire and the circles are about 1 cm wide.
They are light in weight and swing about nicely when worn which shows off the symbols.
Matching pieces are available.
The earrings come in a silver gift box and are sent via royal Mail 1st class post.
