This range of eco Christmas earrings and decorations was inspired by my lack of enthusiasm over an array of mass made plastic baubles I'd seen in a shop one afternoon. I stood in front of them thinking, in a few years, when these colours and designs go out of fashion, they will be lying in landfill and they'll probably still be there in 100 years time, not decomposing! This is why my decorations are made with paper, eco-friendly glue, eco matt varnish and strung with organic cotton. All of which will biodegrade quickly and not give the planet indigestion. For me, the motivation to create anything has always been tempered and inspired by the idea of personal responsibility.

Eco-friendly, paper snowflake Christmas earrings.
Handmade, original design.
Made with paper, eco-friendly, natural latex and Dammar glue and coated with an eco-friendly matt varnish.
'Dammar' is a plant resin derived from the Meranti tree, grown in sustainably managed forests in Sumatra.
Colours: Purple and gold.
Please note the metallic edge is only on one side of the earring.

Size: 2.4 cm – approx.
Very lightweight and comfortable.
Earring hooks are gold plated.
If you would like a pair fitted with recycled sterling silver instead, please message me first - these will come at additional cost of £1.
Please note: these earrings have been given a coat of eco-friendly matt varnish and so are protected against high humidity and splashes, but I cannot guarantee that they are 100% waterproof – so please don't go swimming in them! :)
