Full description

This screen printed Oystercatchers tea towel is sure to Inject a splash of colour into your kitchen.

Inspired by the estuary wetlands of the South West of England, this charming tea towel depicts six Oystercatchers, each one different, but each with a characterful red/orange beak set against a softy sandy background.

The Oystercatchers motifs were originally appliquéd onto fabric using free motion machine embroidery stitch, reminiscent of softly drawn pencil lines. This design was then screen printed by a local South West company, using water-based non toxic ink, onto ethically sourced 100% cotton cloth. The cotton is woven specially using a combination of ring spun yarn for strength and open ended yarn for water absorbency.

Machine washable up to 40 c.

Tea towels measure: 46cm x 77cm
