This would have been a four-legged stool (hence the shape of the seat) but the forth leg was too short because of a knot! But I decided to continue with it and like the quirkiness of the design. The disc holding the stretchers is pinned with bog-oak pins.

Full description
Made from locally-grown ash, this stool is made using traditional green woodworking techniques and tools. The legs were split from a log and shaped with a drawknife on a shaving horse. The seat was shaped with an adze.
The stool is finished with walnut oil. It measures 46cm. high. The seat is 27 x 38 cm.
