Who wouldn't fall in love with this charming puffin that is looking up towards the sky? I know my cat did!
This puffin was lovingly hand moulded in white clay and bisque fired to 1000 degrees Celsius. I then hand painted him using a combination of five different glazes (a process which took days to get right!) before being fired a second time to 1180 degrees. The black glaze is designed to be textured to add character. Imperfections are part of his charm! He is approximately 10.5cm in length and 6cm tall.
Each of my birds is totally individual as they are moulded and glazed by hand. They make perfect gifts for any nature loving person. They look particularly happy when displayed in pairs.
I have other puffins available, but I will only list one at a time so you can see exactly which little fellow you will receive. Please get in touch if you would like more than one.
