A delicate sterling silver ring with twist detail and blue violet iolite cabochon hand forged in your size.
It's made from two sterling silver wires that have been twisted together by hand. I have hammered the wire, flattening it to make the twist stand out more and to make it more comfortable to wear. It also gives it a Celtic look. Then the setting was added and the stone chosen.
The lavender/ violet stone is 6 mm in diameter.
The name iolite comes from the Greek for violet. It has also been called "water-sapphire" and "Vikings' Compass" because of its usefulness in determining the direction of the sun on overcast days, the Vikings having used it for this purpose.
The ring is ideal for stacking, or can be worn on its own. The listing is for ONE ring.
Eminently suitable to be stacked with a similar ring with amazonite or turquoise also available in my shop here. They both go well with the deep magenta stone.
Remember to let me know your ring size in either US or UK size
If you don't know your US or UK size, just measure the inner diameter of a ring you already have and let me know in the note to seller on checkout.
