I am writing and illustrating a folktale called "The Memory Tree". I felt inspired to draw additional illustrations to accompany quotes from the story. The quote for "Face in the Leaves" begins:
...."The forest soon showed her it was a friend not a foe. A red dawn broke through the branches and lit up her face. A chatter of monkeys swung overhead and rained down fruits for her to eat; a butterfly of iridescent blues and the size of a plate, zig-zagged through the sunbeams..."

Full description
Face in the Leaves is an original illustration in pen and ink by myself. Paper size is A4 (21cm x 29.7cm or 8.3 inches x 12 inches) and the illustration size is approximately 19cm x 27cm (7.5 inches x 10.5 inches). It comes in a cellophane sleeve and posted in a stiffened envelope. A handwritten quote accompanies the artwork.
