Warm in winter yet cool in summer, wool is amazing.
A fabulous blend of merino wool in a gorgeous shade of yellow catkin has been used to make this cobweb felt scarf. The addition of strands of rainbow trilobal nylon to the blend gives a lovely glitzy effect. Five large poppies have been needle felted at each end of the scarf.
This scarf weighs in at less than 50g and measures approximately 135cm x 27cm. Cobweb felt is a very fine, soft felt and is almost transparent in places. Small holes are characteristic of this material but add rather than detract from its beauty. I have tried to illustrate this in the photographs.
A very pretty functional scarf for any time of year. It will be supplied packaged in a cellophane bag making it an ideal gift.
Hand wash in warm water only and reshape while wet.
